Tea Here Now

What the Tea Ceremony Is:

* Breathing consciously
* Watching the tea being poured
* Listening to the tea being poured
* Smelling the aroma of the tea
* Gazing at the meandering steam
* Absorbing the heat of the cup in our hands
* Sensing the warmth of the steam as we drink from the cup
* Tasting the tea in our mouth

Tea Here Now, by Donna Fellman & Lhasha Tizer

“Our whole life could be a ritual; we could learn to stop when the sun goes down and when the sun comes up. We could learn to listen to the wind; we could learn to notice that it’s raining or snowing or hailing or calm…If we can hold it all in our heart, then we can make a proper cup of tea.”
